DAEA in promotion of EGEL

       In its concern to levels so low in the accreditation of the General examination for the egress of the Bachelor's degree (EGEL), the administration of the academic Division of education and Arts (DAEA) in the UJAT, carried out by Dr. Verónica García Martínez, began by develop a strategy to help students and graduates to be able pass this exam.

The teacher Rigoberto García Cupil in charge of the coordination of basic studies of the DAEA; at the beginning of this year took the responsibility of organizing a course where those interested in presenting the EGEL can reinforce the knowledge acquired during the race.

To achieve these objectives began having contact with the managers of the body responsible for applying the EGEL, the CENEVAL for information about the areas where those who had the test were deficient, to apply a simulated test to students of the Bachelor of education and communication.

Obtained data and noting the hard work already done, CENEVAL decided to grant to the DAEA option to host for the application of the EGEL in the above-mentioned degrees; so currently are standing two implementation dates of the EGEL DAEA, just like before the application-based will be taught the course of reinforcement.

These actions add 20 professors, experts in the different areas of each race, to teach courses to the 120 students enrolled for the exam, 60 for each application date being in equal proportion to the degree of education and communication.
